Money helps you separate a commercial agreement, an invoice, a payment attempt, and cash received. Each figure keeps its source and current status.
Use this when
- You need to know which accounts have an overdue invoice.
- A proposal total does not match the value you expected to collect.
- A payment provider returned an uncertain result.
- Someone needs to approve a reminder or invoice action.
What you can do
- Read recorded revenue and proposal value with their definitions.
- Review invoice balances and collection cases.
- Prepare provider actions that require approval.
- Check receipts before retrying a payment or reminder.
How it works
- Open the relevant Money view and select the customer or account.
- Read the amount, currency, source, and current status.
- Review any dispute, promise, hold, or approval requirement.
- Approve a supported action only after checking its recipient and amount.
- Confirm the provider receipt before treating the action as complete.
What happens next
A collection decision can create reviewed follow-up work on Today. A payment result remains linked to the account and its activity history.
What to know
The revenue guide does not equal cash collected from a payment provider. Collections works only with explicitly tracked invoices and configured providers. Availability depends on workspace modules and permissions.
